Blondes Gift

Blondes Gift, the now legendary talk show moderated by Barbara Schöneberger, was broadcast by various German TV stations between 2001 and 2005, and produced by the Munich-based Entertainment Factory. The goal of every program was to determine the so-called blonde factor of the guest. This had less to do with hair color than with an attitude toward life: taking a relaxed view of oneself and the rest of the world.

Starting situation

The production company decided to give the program a “James Bond” look and feel, and wanted music for the sound ID which would immediately awaken associations with the famous 007 movies while being at the same time original and having an easily recognizable theme.

Implementation

Analyzing the target group, developing the sound ID, choosing an ensemble and composing the main theme.

Result

When the arrangements, the orchestration and the subsequent production were finished, we crafted opening credits, end titles and commercial separators of high quality and distinctiveness to reinforce the program’s look and feel for the long term, thus helping to make this talk show so successful that it gained cult status.
